I wasn't going to rush and work on clips tonight because I'm having a bit of a personal crisis at the moment (putting it mildly). Without saying too much ... I am being taken to court Tuesday morning and will likely be evicted and thrown on the streets on Christmas Eve - it takes 10 days for them to have the sheriff put me out. So as you can all imagine I'm not doing very well. But, Icarus was soooooo damn good, and I need a little distraction from my own problems ...
I hope to continue my "tradition" of posting clips for you guys come January, but at least for tonight - anyway - I'm still here ... and I wanted to honor the amazing, final mid-season cliffhanger!
Best mid-season cliffhanger in the history of Smallville, hands down! I even appreciated Chloe's "deleted scene" from Lazarus. I was dreading what happened to Carter, but deep down I knew it was coming - and the way it happened was really beautiful and certainly meaningful. As for the Clois proposal/engagement ... what can I say other than it was pure PERFECTION!! If you haven't seen the episode yet you might want to prepare yourself for some tears (happy and sad). Not to mention a lot of intense, nail-biting moments! Enjoy! Hope to see you all January 28th for the return of Smallville! :)

Check out the rock on Miss Lane's finger!! Friday can't come soon enough. Knowing that we'll get Hawkman, Stargirl and Black Canary AND a true engagement is enough to keep me happy until the show returns in 2011! I just wonder what the cliffhanger will be - which basically means I'm hoping there won't be a bitchy, whiny, irritating little blonde stepping in at the last second and killing the entire thing!
Oh this is gonna be good! After 6 years, and for most of those years having no reason to believe we'd EVER see this even come CLOSE to happening on Smallville, it is SO worth the wait!

Clark choosing the perfect spot, "their phone-booth," is just too damn cute! I was wondering where it would happen: the Daily Planet roof, the loft, the Fortress, the cornfield ... but in the end I think it's safe to say that, for this particular version of Clois, that phone-booth really is their special place. Can't ask for much more! :)
Is it bittersweet that we will probably never get to see the actual wedding? Maybe a little. But all things considered, I couldn't be more thrilled with how far they have come in the last 6 years. Of all the things Smallville has done, right and wrong, in the case of the Clark and Lois relationship - they got it SO right! It has become the most beautiful, romantic, endearing, realistic and powerful telling of their epic relationship I think we've ever seen. Considering Lois Lane and Clark Kent have been going strong for 70+ years - that is high praise indeed! So there are NO complaints here! I'm just going to enjoy every moment we're lucky enough to have, and be eternally grateful that Smallville has lasted long enough for it to come to fruition! :)
This is probably one of the most powerful Clois scenes, ever - and it doesn't even involve Lois (well, not really)! "Straight to my soul."
Best part about this? That whiny little whore Lana shacked up with Bizarro for what, a month, and had NO CLUE it wasn't Clark. Lois looks at Clark for 2 seconds and KNOWS it's him! Yet one more out of a million reasons why they are, always were, and always will be soulmates. Take that haters (AKA Clana, Chlark and Chlois whiners)! "It's him!"
Such a beautiful episode ... and while it was a little too "busy" at times ... the two surprises at the end definitely made up for it. Granny Goodness was pure perfection. Teri Hatcher, Julian Sands and Helen Slater were all incredible - as expected - so much emotion and development came out of their short scenes. Tess' secret was a shock that has been coming for a long time. And while we've seen a lot of foreshadowing for an engagement between Clark and Lois, I don't think many of us expected it to move THIS quickly!
Season 10 is definitely on a roll, and I for one am really enjoying the ride!

The last 3 weeks in a row on "Smallville" have proven to be MONUMENTAL as far as the relationship between Clark and Lois is concerned. Just ... WOW.
Homecoming - they finally declare their love for one another, and Clark actually FLIES!
Isis - they both decide to come clean about the big "secret," but luckily Clark goes first, *officially* making Lois the ONLY person he has ever truly been honest with because he WANTED to.
Harvest - promises are made, a secret is passed on and the love is consummated!
What more could we possibly ask for? I don't expect an engagement, I know some Cloisers do, but I'll be happy if they just seriously *discuss* the topic of marriage before the series ends. That said - the way things are going - I wouldn't be shocked if they don't actually go ahead and allow them to go for it! We'll see!
Most of us knew what would happen during tonight's episode - but knowing about it and seeing it actually happen are two VERY different things! It was, in a word, perfect! Beautiful. Romantic. Sexy. Tender. Heartwarming. Not to mention, much more satisfying to watch because it lasted for more than 10 seconds (remember Pandora?). So, yeah. They are listening to us, and BOY are they delivering. In SPADES. It's amazing!
There was a lot that happened in this episode. The Clois relationship certainly progressed in other ways. Connor Stanhope, one of my favorite young actors, returned as young Lex (errr, Alexander, uhhhh ... I mean Lex) and delivered an incredible performance. Cassidy Freeman was on FIRE, as always. Erica Durance is one HELL of an actor. Period.
Right now I'm going to cut this semi-short because I had a tooth pulled yesterday ... needless to say I'm exhausted and in a fair amount of pain. But I did manage to upload THE big scene in the meantime. It's about 4 minutes and includes a wonderful moment between Clark and Lois in the loft that quickly ends up, ahem, in the bedroom. :)
I can't get over how incredible the chemistry is between Tom and Erica. They really bring out the BEST in each other, in every scene. Best chemistry I've ever seen on-screen - rivaled only by Dean & Teri, of course - but still the best, nonetheless.
If you missed "Homecoming" - well, I'm terribly sorry - because it was obvious why this was Tom Welling's favorite of the entire series. It was absolute PERFECTION!! The show has truly never been better! I just wish we could have 200 more episodes, especially if they could all be even HALF as amazing as this one was!

As some of you may know by now, I have been gravely ill the last several weeks. As a result, I have had to put the Smallville Season 9 Top 100 Clois Countdown on hold.
I still intend to complete it. The hardest part is actually done, as I said weeks ago, but I just don't have the time to finish it right now.
I have been in and out of the hospital and now I am losing my home because I lost my job and can't afford to pay rent. So I will be homeless by the end of the month.
Also wanted to send this to you guys since I thought you might be interested, considering you are fans of my videos. I made this music video a week or so ago. It's basically a Michael Jackson tribute to his song "We've Had Enough."

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have suspended distribution of the "How Far We've Come" Project for the time-being. I apologize for having to do this, but it has just gotten too difficult to keep up with.

At the moment I'm strictly focusing on real-life issues and the only Clois Project I have time for is the Top 100 Season 9 Countdown.

I wanted to get it finished before the Twitter event today, celebrating 72 years of Clark Kent and Lois Lane, and I got it done just in time!
We all know Season 9 was incredible, easily the best season ever ... especially for Lois and Clark fans! What do YOU think the #1 Moment will be? What would YOUR top moment(s) be? I have a feeling the top choice will be fairly unanimous! ;)

Well, as you may have noticed ... my trusty old YouTube accounts have been suspended. Again. Guess I should consider myself lucky, though. My main account, SuperGEM3, lasted almost 2 full years without many problems. Quite an accomplishment, I'd say ... so though I am sad, I am also grateful.
I am mostly upset over losing my 1,600+ subscribers and almost 300 friends ... not to mention all of my own personal subscriptions and favorites, etc. But it's OK. I'll rebuild. I'm actually working hard to rebuild my REAL life right now ... so I suppose I can look at this as just one more difficult and tedious step in that direction LOL.
I'm writing this message to you all as an update, but also to inform you of my unique "rebuilding" plans. Because, I've decided to create not just ONE new YouTube channel, but THREE!
I'm hopeful that this move will help prevent this severe of a blow from ever happening again!
My new main account, which is this one - SuperGEM9- will be where I will post ONLY my music videos (much less likely to cause copyright infringement that will get me suspended again) and maybe a few previews and trailers. It is this account where I hope to rebuild my base of friends and subscribers. So if you want to remain connected with me, which I sincerely hope you do - of course - please SUBSCRIBE to and FRIEND me at SuperGEM9. I will stay in touch with ALL of you that way, and you'll get some nice treats now and then of course.
My second account will be for Smallville/Clois CLIPS. This one, of course, will probably be in the most "danger" of getting suspended in the future ... but since it will just be connected to my main account at SuperGEM9 I won't lose anything other than the uploads and their comments. So if you want to continue to have access to my weekly Clois clips ... SUBSCRIBE to and FRIEND me at SuperGEMClips!
My third account will be a go-between, in a way, because it will be in danger as well but hopefully not as MUCH danger as the CLIPS channel. This one will be strictly for my "infamous" Clois Countdowns. That includes my Top 25 Countdown from Seasons 4 though 7, my Top 50 Countdown from Season 8, the very popular "How Far We've Come" Project, and any future countdowns I may do. So there you have it, friends. Three separate YouTube channels with three separate functions, yet still all connected and hopefully easily accessible. I hope this method will work better for me and that you, my friends, won't think it too confusing. I just feel it is the best way for me to continue to bring you the quality videos I have been fortunate enough to make available to you for so many years.
I will be maintaining my policy of manually approving comments to my videos ... but if you add me as a friend on any of these 3 channels of course that means any comments you make will be automatic. As always I will try to approve comments as often and as quickly as I can, but please be patient with me. Now that I'll have 3 channels to manage and not just 1, it may take me a little longer from now on.
Most of my music videos have already been uploaded to SuperGEM9, and I will slowly begin to re-upload videos to both the SuperGEMClips and SuperGEMCountdown channels. Please just be patient and eventually most of your "favorite" videos from me will be back. Not to mention, I plan to begin uploading new Clois clips from this coming Friday's EXCITING NEW episode of Smallville ... so don't worry. I'll be as quick and as thorough as I ever have been with that. At least this time I know if YouTube decides to shut me down, odds are they'll only get one account at a time ... and I can always rebuild. I've done it before, and I'll do it again!
If you know anyone who is looking for my old channels, SuperGEM3 and the backup SuperGEM5, I would be very grateful if you would point them in the direction of the MAIN channel ... SuperGEM9.
